About YogaOmPath
Depth, Practice, Teaching…

YogaOmPath is the result of a journey that has been evolving for more than a decade.
The work began in 2012 in the United Kingdom, where the first steps were taken in sharing yoga practice and philosophy. As the journey continued, the project developed further in 2015 while living and teaching in Turkey, gradually expanding through teaching and study with practitioners from different backgrounds.
In 2022, while living in Greece, the work took its present form under the name YogaOmPath. After a long period of gestation, it is now, in 2026, coming alive again, ready to unfold, breathe, and take its place in the world.
The name reflects both the essence and direction of the work; combining the universal sound Om, symbolizing unity and awareness, with the idea of a Path, pointing to yoga as an ongoing process of study, practice, and inner exploration.
YogaOmPath is intended as a space for those who wish to engage with yoga beyond the surface level: supporting teachers, practitioners, and students who are interested in deepening their understanding of the practice, its philosophy, and its transformative potential.
The journey continues..
About Dee Cooke
Yoga Teacher, Trainer, Mentor
Reiki Practitioner & Reiki Master Student

YogaOmPath was founded by Dee Cooke, a yoga teacher, trainer, and mentor who has been teaching since 2012. Over the years, living and studying in different countries has shaped her teaching approach through diverse experiences and perspectives. Her work combines traditional yoga principles with a grounded and accessible approach, rooted in a continuous study of yoga practice and philosophy.
Through YogaOmPath, the intention is to support practitioners and teachers who wish to explore yoga as a path of learning, inquiry, and personal development; not only as a physical practice. A path toward greater awareness, balance, and connection!
From Dee:
I have been practicing yoga since 2004, but my true connection with the practice was born through challenge. It deepened after two long-term injuries that occurred five years apart and changed the course of my life.
After my second injury, and following a long period with no improvement, I was told at the hospital that I would not recover. I was advised to attend a program that would teach me how to live with my disability, as I was no longer able to walk normally.
That moment became a turning point. Instead of accepting that reality, I chose to remember and apply what I had learned from my very first yoga teacher; teachings that had already helped me recover from my first injury. With patience, dedication, and trust in the practice, my body began to respond. My recovery progressed auickly, and through that experience I realized the profound depth of yoga as a science of healing and transformation. This led me to take my Yoga Teacher Training and commit fully to the path.

Over the years, I have continued to study yoga and meditation with various teachers at different stages of my journey. I also integrated Reiki healing into my life and received my Reiki First Degree initiation with Christine Lunt in 2011.
My professional teaching journey began in 2012 in Bristol, UK, and has since expanded through Turkey, India, and Greece. Since 2017, I have been training yoga teachers, working with both those who already hold certifications and those beginning their path. Alongside teaching, I mentor practitioners and teachers at different stages of their development.
Today, my work focuses on supporting practitioners and yoga teachers through trainings, courses, and ongoing programs that deepen their practice and evolve their teaching. I also offer seminars and private sessions dedicated to wellbeing and personal development, welcoming people with or without a yoga background.
For me, yoga is not simply a practice. It is a path of resilience, awareness, and transformation; one that continues to shape my life and the way I support others on their own journeys.
